BEYOND THE DEAD
Drawing on learnings from earlier GREE titles with overly complex PVP live-ops events, I led the end-to-end UI/UX effort on a new GREE mobile strategy title, Beyond the Dead, with a focus on improving clarity, reducing friction, and driving long-term engagement. I focused on streamlining core systems including guild vs. guild live-ops events to make them easier for new users to understand while still supporting depth for experienced players.
To better align the experience with the needs of our audience, I developed player personas and conducted competitive research across top-performing strategy titles. Using those insights, I defined the visual direction and functionality of the UI and collaborated closely with engineering, game design, and UI/UX specialists to guide implementation. The wireframes and documentation I produced became the foundation for the team and ensured alignment throughout production.
Despite limited resources, I also created scalable solutions for weekly live-ops content by developing modular ad templates that reduced production time and allowed us to maintain a steady cadence of events post-launch.
