In my formative years in university I started a t-shirt company as a way to make money with my art. I always loved to draw during my childhood but never really saw a way to monetize my skills. Starting this company exposed me to new media design, web design, branding, and project management. I had to create all the content for this company which included all the shirt prints, branding, website, and photo-shoots. It taught me a lot and eventually drove me into UI/UX design as a career.
